How this valuation is worked out
Online brands are priced on trailing twelve month profit — SDE for smaller stores, EBITDA above roughly $1M — at about 2.5 to 5 times. Owned audience, repeat purchase rates and a defensible product make the difference.
A worked example
$800K of revenue with $180K of SDE, 40% from repeat customers and a single dominant sales channel. At 2.5–3.5× SDE that is $450K–$630K; owned email lists and diversified traffic push it up, channel concentration pulls it down.
Multiple ranges reviewed September 2026, based on offers buyers in our network are making today. They are a guide, not a quote — see how the process works.
What moves your number
- Repeat customer rate and email list size
- Channel concentration — a single marketplace is a risk buyers price in
- Product differentiation versus easily copied private label
- Inventory position and cash tied up in stock

Common questions
Is inventory included in the price?
Usually it is paid for separately at cost on top of the business price.
Do I need to be off Amazon?
No, but a brand selling only on one marketplace prices lower than one with its own site and audience.
How much history do buyers want?
At least twenty-four months of clean, stable performance.
