How this valuation is worked out

Entertainment venues are priced on earnings, usually in the low-to-mid single-digit multiples. League bowling and repeat party bookings act like recurring revenue and lift the multiple; food, beverage and arcade income carry the margin; ageing pinsetters, scoring systems or projection gear come off the price.

A worked example

A 24-lane center with $1.8M of revenue, $340K of EBITDA, four league nights a week and a busy party business. At 4× that is roughly $1.36M for the operation, with the building appraised separately and ageing pinsetters deducted.

Multiple ranges reviewed September 2026, based on offers buyers in our network are making today. They are a guide, not a quote — see how the process works.

Common questions

Does league bowling really matter that much?

Yes. Booked league nights are the closest thing the business has to contracted revenue, and buyers pay more for a venue that has them.

How is the building handled?

Owned property is appraised separately and can be worth more than the operating business, especially on a large parcel.

What about equipment we need to replace?

Buyers estimate the cost of catching up on it and subtract that from what they will pay.
