Does the electrical licence transfer?
Generally not. A buyer needs their own qualifying licence holder or must retain the seller's. It is the first thing we check.
How is work in progress handled?
Open jobs and progress billings are settled separately from the purchase price, usually at closing.
Are service-heavy businesses worth more?
Typically yes. Recurring service and maintenance revenue is valued above one-off construction work.
